Sorry to pester you again, but we need BIGGER GUNS!
And so, some more items for the survivalist store...
Gun nut "Go-faster" gun. (As advertised in Merc world)
Heavy Crossbow With Firebomb 5/per day. Massive crits (2D8) Unlimited ammo (2D12 Dam) Knockdown. Tree seeing
Explanation Basically a Military Rifle with grenade launcher, taken by Wibble Inc, and rechambered to use a huge Round. Unfortunately during the rechambering, the rifle losses some of it's accuracy (Hence the no + to hit). Then It is sold on to the public. However to attract more user's of its target audience (Normally these people are sitting in the basement, quite often in the Grunthan desert, wearing their underpants and a tinfoil hat surrounded shrink wrapped army rations, and reading Merc world) Wibble Inc strapped every known accessory to the gun, including a thermal sight and grenade launcher. Due to its relative lack of accuracy it's looked down upon by many in the shooting community, but some stand by the rather terrifying power of it's projectile.
Tin foil hat Immunity to all mind affecting spells.
Worn by some very strange people, to protect them from the alien space rays, being beamed from Reswoll. However before Wibble Inc Stepped up to provide them for retail the conspiracies theory types had to build their own. With the release of a commercial variant, many have hailed this as a public service, making the protection of tin foil hats available to everyone.
However some claim that the Wibble Inc Hats let through very specific mind control rays... ones produced by Wibble Inc!

Since gun-improvements seem to be the order of the day, how about a rifle-scope, offering a number of uses of 'True Strike' per day? Probably not many uses, though, since it's calibrated for a cold barrel shot. Still, just the thing for those 'one magic bullet' moments.

Heavy Crossbow With Firebomb 5/per day. Massive crits (2D8) Unlimited ammo (2D12 Dam) Knockdown. Tree seeing Not all of that's possible. For instance, there aren't many options for Unlimited ammo. The UA options go from +1 to +5, or 1d6 for fire/cold/elec. I wish they'd improve this some update. I've always wanted to make a stun gun - not very damaging, but with unlimited "daze" or "paralyze" ammo. Also, Knockdown can be put on ammo, but not on the gun. Well, actually, I can put the "feat" on the gun, but that just means you'd select it like the normal feat knockdown, which also means you'd still be using your hands (afaik)... no point in using the gun if you're going into melee. I try to avoid too many immunities, and items with true seeing. I might make a gun that casts True Seeing (and True Strike, pat), but I won't make a gun that gives permanent True Seeing. And don't hold your breath on the tin foil hat... Immunity to mind spells gives the player a huge advantage - there's some fighter-types who are so thick their only weakness is will saves. Saving throw bonus? Sure. Clarity (or similar spell) x times a day? Sure. Immunity to one specific mind spell, like fear? Rarely, but they're out there. But immunity to all mind spells? Nah.

heh, the tin-foil hat was only a joke.
The reason why I'm pushing for bigger damage numbers on heavy crossbows is that My bloke at current walks into a room, I start him fighting then I sit down with a book to read for a while, then I check back to see if he's killed everyone yet. He's only averaging 10 points of damage, and agaisnt big nasty's their damage soak will take that, and they're mostly imune to crits and sneaks, leaving me with what option?
Also can we have some decent police battons please (Tonta with nobs on) ? Just for the CBI types to have fun beating up Grunthan cartiers...
(Note: I'm sure the CBI will beat up Kora tree huggers, Fertilund rednecks, Mil TGB's, Yanra Pointy eared scum and Alta Nobs as well.)

That's what non-infinite ammo is for.
Expect more bullets, bolts, arrows, shuriken soon. Well, maybe not soon, but eventually.
More stuff coming. Eventually. Including a new ultra-club. AN invisible one.

yeah.. I agree.. Cona walks into a room of baddies, and slowly pummels the tar out of them with 10-20 damage (depending on if a lighting strike got off), but either half or all of it is absorbed.. and she SUCKS with any type of weapon (except shuriken)... So yeah.. definatly need some better fire power in the ranged area or to lower the soaks that the baddies get.

Possible. For the record, there's some bard equipment that's unbalancingly powerful, though... Some items have a "Unique Power" that buffs the entire party with six really nice spells at once. The "Virtuoso Crossbow" for instance (required 30 perform, though). I'm somewhat partial to bards.

Gawd fecking darn it!
You seriosuly have to down grade those fecking inner eye snipers, just remove their blasted Stun ability! Yet again a low level charchter whose involved with a realativly fair fight with a bunch of inner eye types gets stuned by those buggers, and I used up a whole slew of potions just trying to keep myself alive, just before getting stunned again.
Eventualy I just gave up and let myself get killed, it was cheaper in the long run. Even if it's jsut confusion, so you can still run away from them, fine. But that's to harsh for low levels.
The lower level PC types get stunned and killed so easily it's horific. The high level ones just walk though there not even bothering to notice them. And seeing as they're in all directions from Trasa Low level PC's are stuck, with not alot to do to gain EXP.

*Chuckles* When I first started here, those snipers had bolts with dc 26 stun/sleep/dispel on hit. The evil bullets they use now are nerfed heavilly, though perhaps 'daze' on hit (dc 12?) would be better..

I'll think about it. Not this update (it's already been sent to Rog), but maybe next update the bolts won't be so bad

In regards to the Marae...
There is a rumor (written in some text) that there is a merchant somewhere that only accepts the Marea coins...have yet to find that one...
And I was pondering just what kind of things might be sold there...maybe something that allows others to change forms (polymorph/shapechange potions?) Or more of their nanotech in other forms (bracers/cloaks/boots)? Or maybe some nifty weapons (scythes/sickles)?
Maybe there is a clue to it's location in the remains of what was found under the Admin building?
