Not at all, Martessa, it just means I'm a stand-alone complex... *grin*

I do not know if this works "really", but i have seen this in an OOC starting place of a french module: A NPC "void" that lets you erase your own PC by talking to him. This is great for cleaning some of your PCs you do not play, without the need of the DMs, and vault cleaner as well.

Some way of limiting the amount of junk one gets lumbered with.
I mean I've got So many reward data chips it's begining to realy suck up room. I've had to start filling up another inventory screen now.
A big culprit is the bounty-hunter reward chips. when you complete the Epic level ones you can't cash in those chips and the Elite BH token, and the sadly useless BH ring for just one small item...
Also as I'm heading off to do some zombie bashing later, a shotgun would be nice. ;D

Being a Noob to the server, was wondering if you thought about incorporating a CNR into the game? As there are some rather interesting material resources that you have already in the game. There is a recipe maker mod that could be used if a CNR system was available. It would facilitate a means of gaining xp without having to go and fight encounters.

I've just heard from so many people who hate crafting systems for so many different reasons, that I never really thought that deeply about it. Nevertheless, it has crossed my mind before. Considering the mod is so big now, and I don't want to add much more (RAM issues with the server comp), there would have to be pretty significant demand before I would go to the trouble. Good suggestion, though.

I would definitely supoort such a crafting system if it were available. It would be nice to have a "pure" merchant character who doesn't have to go out and fight things in order to gain XP.

I might have to lock this thread... Okay, listen up. I'm going to have to pretty much declare the mod "finished", except for bug fixes and simple RP-related changes (like blowing up Scoop's house). Here's the thing; I have to lose some weight, and in order to do so, I'm going to have to spend a lot less time on the computer. Anyway, please no more suggestions unless it's something we NEED (as the title of the thread suggests). Also, I'm going to have to cut off player submissions as well, as many of those take even more time to add than when I create things myself.
I hesitate to bring this up, but there is one other option... I would hate to see Itropa players taper off simply because there weren't new areas to explore. I'd like to think that the ever-evolving RP would keep people coming back, but some people simply get bored without a constant influx of new stuff. So I... could... allow someone else to adopt the mod, and let him make updates from now on. It would have to be someone creative, good at scripting, and with a similar "vision" about my gameworld. I don't really want to do that, but it's better than having the mod die.

One last thing before you go.
Do we need to update the OOC E-texts and such?
I just ask becuase when ever I run into a new player, I have to expalin a few extra things that are not mentioned in the E-texts.
Such as the basics stores are the only ones that buy back at full price. The new accepted convention on pick-pocketing.
It would save my work.... home key board alot of typing if that could be arranged.

That's a pretty quick fix, I shouldn't have a problem getting to that.

Another idea for the OOC E-texts (this one's not mine, but Kredisha's).
Have them for sale at Trasa Basics. that way after a time of playing a charchter and having sold the E-texts, they're still avalible with important infomation such as the URL for the forum.
