Well has anyone seen a railgun for sale? 'How much for that railgun, in the window? The one with the magnetic coil.'

It's clear what you need to do is buy better bullets. I'm pretty sure there're decent ones for sale. If not I'll make more. Just gotta look around.

This is true, but that gets expensive fast. I've created a charchter who is ment to be an ex-soldier from the war, and he can chew through bullets very quickly ("Remember men! Wild uncontroled panicky fire!"). Even a short run through the grunthan desert will use 2-300 rounds... And the money coming in won't keep him in ammo.
I did try to use the +2 ammo from Gregs' but that was insannley expensive, esapecaily for a Level 5 char where the tresure scripts are giving up 5-10GP.

I'm currently working on a military-themed store. If anyone wants to send in some items for that store, now would be the time. Mostly looking for things like guns, camo fatigues, really any military/police style armors and weapons.

You could try hunting down one of the 'infinite ammo' rifles - the 'Rogue Agent' ones from the Alta science academy spring to mind, if you know a 'borg who'll do the actual buying for you... Though they're pretty out-of-reach for a 5er, thinking about it...

Mostly looking for things like guns, camo fatigues, really any military/police style armors and weapons. Ohhh, me me me... Rifles with grenade launchers, as mentioned above. Sniper ammo, Some kind of "On hit cast Death style spell" Mag-lights: "Grid-lights": Club is your 3 D-cell one, Light 40meter's, Mace is your AA penlight Light 10 meter's. LAW rocket: large tube object, 1 use Fireball. Frame charge: something that Will remove any locked door on use. Various grenades. Smoke/Blind: cast some form of LOS blocking spell, like darkness. Multi tool, bonuses to Pick lock, craft skills and disable and set trap. Asbestos underpants: Immunity to all heat based weapons and attacks, but your con reduced, by quite a bit, maybe even a -6.

I THOUGHT I saw it at Grag's Guns. It was VERY powerful, and expensive.

Also, I am working on some stuff that animals (Canars, Chetals et al) can use, and may play around with some of the suggestions (as I did with the first batch).

I THOUGHT I saw it at Grag's Guns. It was VERY powerful, and expensive. About 500 thou, +10 AB, mighty +5, 2d12 crit. Nice, but bassed on a Small crossbow.

small xbows have a faster attack rate anyway. I really can't sympathize with anyone who thinks +10 AB and 2d12 crits isn't good enough.

Don't forget the ever popular Antipersonnel mine (and a personal favorite): The Claymore (FRONT TOWARDS ENEMY)- an entire 99-pack of regular sling bullets at once.

Some of the better stuff will be leaving Grag's once the new store is in.

Idea: Guns and ammo style nutcase magazine. Single use, imune to fear. Once you read it you get your Rambo head on, and so just are not scared by anything!

Now _that_ would be muchly helpful, I'd fork out for a subscription... Then again, if I could afford it, I'd cough up for a railgun, too, and consider it money well spent.
