The Charta Bureau of Investigations is always accepting applications for field agents and SWAT Team members.
To qualify for a field agent position, your character MUST be at least Level 1.
Any and all races, subraces, levels, alignments, genders, or body types will be accepted for interview.
In order to be a SWAT Team member, your character MUST be a level 15 or higher. Intelligence operatives need to have at least 5 ranks of Rogue skills. Medical operatives need to have at least 5 ranks in Heal. Multiclasses are fine.
To actually become an agent or SWAT member, your character needs to attend a meeting. Meetings usually lead to events.
If you want to make an X-Files (Z-Files) type of character, that's fine, but remember that he/she/it is NOT that character. And please PM me first (we can't have five Cox Mulhare's running around). Your character cannot have the same name, but a variation is allowed (Dana Scully = Diana Skelly). This rule was set by Matt, not me, so don't even ASK.
I usually hate SHOUTS (they should only be used for "official" things), but with the permission of the Great Deity, I will shout an announcement about 15 minutes before the meetings start.
Please go to the Golden Touch clothing store in East Trasa and pick up a black and white jumpsuit (2gp) for the meeting. Raid gear (armor) needs to be dark or light blue (teal is good, too). NO RED, BLACK, YELLOW, etc., will be allowed. Some type of overall blue is required. Helmets are suggested, but NOT required. If you have a helmet, it needs to be blue with a metallic faceplate. If you can't craft it, various people will probably help out.
If you're char is late for an event expect him or her to be singled out and "called on the carpet." This will be RPed and is NOT aimed at the person behind the keyboard.
If this sounds like a challenging job to you, please contact your nearest CBI office or send me, pat2010, or Listy a PM (PM-ing us is your best bet).
EDIT: There are no Guild limits. If your char belongs to the Inner Eye, CARS and Figment Central, it makes no difference to me. Double agents for the PFA or LoT are fine, too. Just be prepared to be thrown into the Grunthar Execution Pits if you are caught.
