I've been playing Ragnorok Online. Working on my forum. Helping a friend with information for his website. Helping run another forum and posting in several other forums.

Not much. Work, home, sleep.
I'm reading some of the Drizzt books, and watching classic Dr. Who with my wife. I'm currently trying to find a local D&D group. (Wow, that was a nerdy couple of sentences. And yet, I never got beaten up in high school.)
Occasionally I'll load up NWN and pop around different servers, trying to find some place I'd like to play in for a while. No luck so far. I like roleplay servers, but the popular ones use asinine hardcore rulesets, require food to rest, rely to heavily on item crafting, and trip other pet peeves of mine, reminding me why I started my own server in the first place.
Sometimes I'll open up the toolset and play around. I made a social version of the Fairies Vs Dragons module, just called "Fairy Haven", but I don't have a spare computer to host it atm. I've been considering making a zombie apocalypse style module, but without being able to host it, there's not much incentive.
I tried the free trials of Star Wars Galaxies and World of Warcraft. Both were kind of fun, but not fun enough to justify a monthly fee. I should probably give D&D online a shot.

Only D&D group by me has no openings so trying to find an IRC one on the internet. No luck so far. All the ones I've found have been dead for quite some time. I'd like to do one with you in RL but don't think that'd ever happen. And I don't think you're one for IRC.
Also Matt the way that Star Wars game is now sucks. They screwed it up just so it could be played on the Xbox. It used to be skill based so you had complete freedom to do what you want with you char. Now everything about it sucks. It was once one of the most popular servers out there but after the change most people left. I'd say about 90% of the population left.

Speaking of Star Wars, I tried the NWN server "Rise of the Rebellion" today. ( rotr.darkbb.com/ ) It has a long way to go, but it's got potential.

Of course, there's always that KotOR MMO they keep talking about. Maybe that'll actually come to pass, and maybe it'll be better than Galaxies.

Yeah, both of those single player games are really good. Wishing I had Force Unleashed right now though. That game looks amazing.

Hey Matt, if you can't find an open D&D group like me do what I ended up doing. Join an IRC one. Sure it's not the same but it's better then nothing. Besides the one I joined seems to have nice people.

I've joined an online one. Let me know if you're interested in trying an IRC one. Wouldn't mind D&Ding with you.

It's a possibility, but right now I'm more interested in finding a live group. I'm insanely shy, and don't have a lot of offline friends, so it would probably be good for me to get a little more social interaction. Plus, I just spend way too much time sitting in front of a computer. Curious, when you do IRC, is it just a straight chat program? I know of some specific programs made for the task ( GameTable, for example). But I'd want one that knows the rules and does the math for you, like (I'm told) WotC's upcoming thingamajig.

We use mIRC, and the DM has a bot that does things like dice rolls. There's no map. But I'll check the link an suggest it to GM. Also I'm surprised you call your self shy looking at your myspace pics.

Shy offline. Online, not so much.

I've been... having an okay time. Playing mostly KOL and Warcraft 3 lately. I've hopped on NWN a bit but eh, I don't feel like updating and there aren't many decent servers out there. I agree, lame-ass rulesets and forcing people to eat and drink, plus pseudo-permadeath. Suck. Lots.
